Deck those paws with bells so jolly and jingle all the way through the Gaslamp Quarter for The Vet + Pet West Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade presented by FOMO Bones. Pet owners and their furry, feathered, hooved, feathered and scaled companions were invited to don their favorite costumes.
Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Doggie Gras 5K & Dog Parade was fun for the whole family. Runners walked and strolled around the beautiful bay and afterwards, enjoyed the colorful Doggie Gras Parade where they cheered on people and pooches in impressive costumes.
Dogs were invited to a Bow Wow Buffet! The 6th Annual Hornblower Cruises Bow Wow Brunch Cruise helping raise money for Helen Woodward Animal Center. This cruise includes champagne, a brunch spread for humans, and a delightful doggie buffet for the pups all for a good cause.
Walks are important to your pet’s physical and mental well-being. During Walk Your Pet Month, take this opportunity to ensure you are making the effort to get your pet active outside. Friends and customers came out to join in the festivities of the grand opening of Ted's Grooming Emporium and Pet Supply in the University City Marketplace Shopping Center. Guests met Theodore Edward Bear the founder, owner, Pomeranian who likes to be called Ted. The store provides products and services to help pet parents achieve optimal health and longevity for their pet.
Guests kicked off the Halloween celebrations with EarthWise Pet Supply in East Village a full-service pet supply, groomer and self-wash destination at the Bow Wow Beer Bash at Mission Brewery to benefit Rescue Express. Rescue Express is an animal transport nonprofit that provides "freedom rides" to animals in high-kill shelters and delivers them to forever homes in the Pacific Northwest.
Guests grabbed their friends, family and dogs and headed to NTC Park at Liberty Station in San Diego for the 5th annual DogFest San Diego benefiting Canine Companions for Independence. Furry friends and families were invited to join for a day of fun, festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more!
San Diego House Rabbit Society hosted Bunnyfest in Balboa Park. A fun event featuring arts & crafts vendors, veterinary information booths, bunny services, games, a silent auction, and bunny agility contests, apparel and activities for the bunny lover in all of us.
The 13th Annual Cardiff Dog Days of Summer presented by Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas hosted a free event which featured over 100 dog-related vendors, rescue groups, pet adoption agencies and more. Activities included dog contests, live music, kids’ activities, beer & wine garden, food trucks and more.
